Community funding applications now open in Bunbury

By Kevin Kelly

Community events and developments are a major attraction for people interested in purchasing real estate in one area or another.

Applications for grants in Bunbury have recently been announced and opened, which could be great news for individuals and groups living in the region to make their dreams come true.

Organisers are encouraged to get in touch with the the council and file an application for funding and take advantage of the City of Bunbury's Grant Funding Program. Deputy mayor Brendan Kelly said the funding was a great way for events and activities to be created for community involvement in the coming months.

"The Grant Funding Program is a great way for groups to attract the support required to hold events or activities that enhance the City's vibrancy and diversity," said Mr Kelly in a 28 April statement.

"In the past the City has funded many events that have benefited the local community and I urge those planning an activity to apply."

Funding applications begin at the beginning of May and finish at the end of June, so be sure to get in quick to make your community event come to life.

If you're interested in buying real estate in Bunbury, be sure to speak with a local agent in the near future.
