No move for Bunbury Visitor Centre

By Kevin Kelly

One of the best ways to find out what's going on in your local area is to head down to Bunbury Visitor Centre, which is an invaluable resource for those living in rental properties in Eaton.

There had been suggestions that the facility should be moved, but following a council vote it has now been decided that it will remain at Carmody Place.

As more people head online to book their leisure activities, there had been growing concerns that Bunbury Visitor Centre's popularity may start to decline.

"Other possible locations included the Dolphin Discovery Centre, part of the future water playground development, the Bunbury Regional Art Galleries and the Bunbury Heritage and Museum Centre," revealed Bunbury mayor Gary Brennan.

However, the facility will stay in place for at least the next two years, after which another review will be carried out to determine whether this is still the right location.
