Where to go for brunch in Bunbury

By Kevin Kelly

When you buy real estate in Bunbury, you're surrounding yourself with some awesome spots for the ever more popular brunch. Here's a rundown of some of the best cafes and restaurants to spend your mornings.

Waters Edge Cafe and Restaurant

This restaurant is just off Cobblestone Street and, as the name suggests, looks straight out onto the water, meaning it offers diners one of the best views in Bunbury. They offer top quality food and are open from 6.30a.m., so you'll be able to enjoy a meal here even if you have an early start.

The Market Eating House

Perth Now reckon the Market Eating House beats a lot of the restaurants in Perth. Offering Middle Eastern tapas and wood-fired meats, this restaurant has become a firm favourite in Bunbury.

You don't even have to worry about food miles if you go here – the Market Eating House sources as many of their ingredients as possible from local producers, so you can justify going out for brunch as a way to help the region's economy.

Cafe 140

Cafe 140 is a hipster's paradise right in the heart of Bunbury. It's got loads of veggie and gluten free options (including its Mexican Quinoa Breakfast Bowl), as well as healthy smoothies that'll leave you feeling happy and refreshed. The atmosphere is cool and laid back, with the huge windows and street art on the walls making it the perfect place for a morning of people watching.

Corners on King

This classic New York diner style restaurant offers delicious American dishes (waffles are a particular favourite). It's the cafe's service that really stands out, however. Staff are always happy and smiling, and the combination of great atmosphere and excellent food means you'll want to come back as soon as you exit the door.

Benesse Espresso Bar

This Italian cafe offers a range of tasty breakfast options, as well as cakes baked to perfection. The real star of the show, however, is the coffee. This place has a stream of locals going to it again and again, and it's definitely a contender for the best coffee in town.

Bunbury's great dining options are just one of the many reasons why the town is a wonderful place to buy real estate. When you're enjoying a Sunday morning brunch in one of these excellent cafes and restaurants, you'll only wish you'd bought a Bunbury property sooner.
