A new partnership between Qantas and Western Australia Tourism will help spread the word about WA's amazing destinations to the world.
The goal of this new partnership – contracted for $7.65 million – is to publicise the state of Western Australia to tourists. The advertising will primarily focus on visitors from the UK, USA, Singapore and domestic tourists.
As more tourists journey down the coast from Perth, real estate in Bunbury may benefit from visitors who love its charm and decide to invest in a vacation home or flat.
"The partnership will play an important role in our bid to attract more domestic and international visitors to the State and increase value of tourism in WA from $7.5 billion in 2012 to $12 billion by 2020," said Lisa Harvey, Western Australia Tourism Minister.
Qantas has agreed to contribute an equal amount to the tourism funds budgeted by the State Government, all in a joint effort to advertise WA's outstanding opportunities around the world. Qantas will promote WA by providing special airfares during special events and festivals. Social media will also be utilised to get the word out about destinations in WA.
Increased tourism in WA will not only mean a boost to the economy, but will likely serve to increase the value of real estate in Australind and WA's other gorgeous destinations, such as Eaton and Bunbury.
