Residents and rate payers living in real estate in Bunbury will now have the chance to be directly involved in council decision making following a March 17 announcement.
The Household Panel project is a new initiative to include the whole community in council processes.
"This is the Community's chance to give feedback and share their point of view on things which matter to them," said City of Bunbury Mayor Gary Brennan.
Panels are open to anyone living in Bunbury and may be an opportunity for those who have just moved into the area to get involved in the community.
Everyone on the panel will be contacted on a regular basis in order for the council to gain valuable insight into the wants and needs of people living in the wider community.
The city of Bunbury has announced residents in the Bunbury and Greater Bunbury region are now able to sign up to its household panel project.
"Ideally we are after a good cross-section of people to make sure we are getting an accurate representation of what the community wants and needs," said Mr Brennan.
As demand for property and houses to rent in Bunbury increases and the city continues to expand, the council is showing a dedication to making sure the entire community is involved in this growth.
