Bunbury is well known for its sense of fun – and this Australia Day is set to be no exception, with plenty of events to keep everyone entertained.
Whether you have real estate in Bunbury or are simply visiting the area, the free entertainment is set to draw in the crowds on January 26.
Known as Freedom Fest, the event will span the Bunbury Foreshore and includes everything from photo booths to drumming workshops, public art installations to musical performances.
It will replace the Australia Day youth zone event from previous years, but is expected to be bigger and better than has ever been seen before.
The alcohol and smoke-free event is considered one of the best in the city's hectic calendar.
April ten Brink, community development officer, said: "We wanted to do something that was more in tune with what young people want on Australia Day.
"We have loads of activities going on, some great music and hopefully a chilled out festival like atmosphere."
There will also be a build up to Freedom Fest to give visitors a glimpse of what will be on offer – on December 12, Bunbury Catholic College Show Case perform, while the following Thursday a 15-minute art workshop is being hosted.
