There's one forthcoming event that residents of real estate in Bunbury are likely to be looking forward to, as the city is set to play host to the Insight Food Truck Festival.
A number of food trucks will be rolling into town, each offering its own unique cuisine. Bicentennial Square is set to be at the heart of the action on 7 November.
Mayor of Bunbury Gary Brennan said the event will have far-reaching benefits for the city and people who live within its boundaries.
"Not only will it help to raise money for a worthy charity but the festival will draw people into the CBD to experience something new and exciting," commented Mr Brennan.
There will be plenty of great food on offer from 4pm to 8:30pm, as well as live entertainment at the Graham Bricknell Music Shell. A number of local businesses have shown their support for the event, which will be the first of its kind ever to be hosted in the city.
There's no need to buy a ticket, just turn up on the day to see what's available. Bear in mind this is an alcohol-free event, meaning people of all ages will be able to enjoy.
Bunbury has a busy schedule of year-round events, which is one of the reasons it's such an exciting place to live. For instance, it was recently announced that author Judy Nunn would be appearing at the Bunbury Public Library on 30 October, while a printmaking exhibition is on show at Bunbury Regional Art Galleries.
