The Stirling Street boat ramp is expected to be redeveloped in the coming months, which could be wonderful news for avid boaters living in real estate in Bunbury. Some of the projects outlined by the recent council release include new dedicated parking for cars with trailers, as well as new drainage, signs, lighting, and a revamping of the general wear and tear of the space.
Previous work on the ramp included the creation of two new boat ramps, as well as the construction of a floating jetty. City of Bunbury mayor Gary Brennan said the construction would begin after Easter, in order to avoid interfering with holiday makers looking to get out onto the water.
"The Stirling Street boat ramp is an important asset that the City has recognised as being of great value to the community," said Mr Brennan in a 23 March statement.
"This final work will complete the overall vision to have an appealing and functional facility with a new jetty, ramps and parking for the recreational boating public to enjoy."
Development of local amenities and infrastructure like this create a wonderful space for people to work and live. If you're interested in Bunbury property, be sure to get in touch with a local real estate agent today.
