What better way to learn more about your new neighbourhood than to head down to the Geographe Crush Food and Wine festival on between 7 and 9 November?
Community and corporate services director at the City of Bunbury Stephanie Addison-Brown revealed how the event is set to be bigger and better than in years gone by – and everyone is invited to take part.
The festival will kick off at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre with a Taste of the Region, where they can try a selection of cocktails and locally made canapes.
Meanwhile, Guppie Park will be preparing for a free cooking demonstration by famed chef Mark Olive alongside trainees who are currently working at the Outback Academy.
Koombana Bay is the place to be on Sunday 9 November as it's transformed into the St Tropez Beach Club for a Mediterranean-inspired soiree.
If you're heading down there then make sure you're kitted out in resort wear, ready to taste local beers, wines and ciders, as well as tapas and entertainment from a DJ [oh hell yeah].
"With so many events scattered throughout the region there is something for everyone," added Ms Addison-Brown.
