Bunbury is home to plenty of creative types and what better place to see them in action next month than the Bunbury Zine Market?
It's scheduled to take place on 25 October, and Bunbury Regional Art Galleries is asking residents of houses to rent in Bunbury to step forward and take part.
If you're wondering what a zine is, it's an abbreviation of fanzine and refers to a self-published booklet that brings together various texts and images.
The idea is to spark discussion about a range of topics, whether it's politics, fiction, movies or even cooking – the choice is yours!
Last year marked the first Zine Fair, and it's hoped the 2014 event will be just as popular. Come along to find out more about zines, as well as swap and sell booklets or discuss this phenomenon with other like-minded people.
Should you get the urge to put together your own zine on the day, you can do so, thanks to a free workshop. Alternatively, feel free to browse and see what other enthusiasts have come up with.
The Bunbury Zine Market will be hosted by the Galleries and runs from 13:00 to 16:00, giving you plenty of time to head down there and find out what all the fuss is about.
