Cycling has become increasingly popular among many Australians and if you're one of those interested in two-wheeled travel, real estate in Bunbury has just become all the more attractive.
Parade Road now has its own cycle path that links the city to Dalyellup, making it easier for you to travel throughout local suburbs.
Work got underway back in March and has recently been completed. You'll find the path starts on Crampton Avenue and finishes up on Centenary Road.
The South West Development Commission (SWDC) has been behind the project and believes it'll be a big hit with local residents.
Chief Executive Officer of the SWDC Don Punch said: "By establishing a safe network of bicycle pathways around the region like the one that has been completed along Parade Road, we hope to encourage more people to enjoy the benefits of cycling."
There are still some additions to be made to the cycle path, including the installation of solar lighting that will help you find your way if you're travelling in the dark.
If you haven't tried cycling throughout Bunbury before this could be your ideal opportunity – especially if you're new to the area and want to explore it more.
