Parents who are wondering how to keep their kids occupied once Christmas and New Year are out of the way are being asked to register for the City of Bunbury's Unleashed! school holiday program.
The initiative runs from January 8 to 30, offering children a host of activities to get involved in during the summer break.
Suitable for youngsters between the ages of 10 and 17, the program includes everything from a trip to Penguin Island to days out at the Xscape Adventure Park.
Coordinator Elizabeth Larkin encouraged everyone living in real estate in Bunbury east and beyond to consider applying for the scheme, which has proved a success in previous years.
"This program offers great opportunities to start new friendships, try new things, and to get outside. It is interactive and exciting so we are expecting it to be as popular as ever," she commented.
Volunteers are responsible for running the events – anyone who is interested in helping out needs to be over 18 and in possession of a current working with children card.
Applications need to be submitted by December 20 and can be filled in at the City of Bunbury Administration Centre or on the City of Bunbury website.
