Residents of real estate in Bunbury can expect an increase in the the number of family-friendly community events such as festivals and street barbecues.
The events schedule in Bunbury is set to be jam-packed this year after the creation of the Bunbury Event Coordination Group.
"This group is teeming with passionate individuals who want to turn Bunbury into a hive of activity when it comes to attracting vibrant, innovative and new events to the region," said City Community Development Director Stephanie Addison-Brown in a March 11 statement.
The aim of the this group is to bring new and exciting events to Bunbury and expand on the local events already running in the area. Community favourites such as the Bunbury Festival and Christmas Carnival remain on the calendar but the potential for new bigger and better events is now endless.
Bunbury council is committed to making the city a vibrant and interesting place to live. Owners of property and occupants of Bunbury rentals should try out some of the action on the events calendar. Whether it is experiencing a slice of Italy at the Harvey Harvest Festival or soaking up the WA Mandolin Orchestra on March 22 there is something on offer for everyone.
