Construction of the second stage of the bike path to Dalyellup has commenced and will extend the network into the southern suburbs and allow for alterative methods for travelling and commuting to and from the city's central area.
This new path stretches from Crampton Avenue in Bunbury right out to Centenary Road in Dalyellup and is a great way to connect residents living in real estate in Bunbury south.
Road closures will occur periodically from March 17 and construction is expected to be completed by the middle of the year. Motorists are asked to take care and adhere to closures and any speed restrictions implemented.
Bunbury council is dedicated to growing and improving the cycle network throughout the city. The Bike-it Bunbury city plan has ensured that each and every cycle way constructed will benefit those living and working in the area.
