The City of Bunbury wants your feedback!

By Kevin Kelly

If you've been living in rental property in Bunbury for the past year, now is your chance to let your local council know how well it has performed over the past 12 months. The City of Bunbury has launched an online feedback form, where residents can put forward their views and make suggestions for the next 12 months.

The survey is carried out every year and is open to all residents and ratepayers in the city. Once the results are in, they will be put together to help the City of Bunbury decide where its efforts need to be focused.

City of Bunbury mayor Gary Brennan said: "The survey is just one of the ways ratepayers and residents can voice their praise or concerns and we will be analysing the results of the survey very carefully and making sure the community is kept abreast of any outcomes."

A host of questions are included in the survey, including those related to how decisions are made in the city, as well as the events and activities that have taken place.

Bunbury is no stranger to local events and festivities, as busy schedule is available throughout the year. The City of Bunbury's Grant Funding Programme has been designed to help groups put together activities that will benefit the wider community.

Funding is provided every year, with the 2015 entrants asked to fall into one of three categories: events, arts, community assistance or place making. Applications need to be submitted by the end of this month and those who have been successful will be informed in August.
